Welcome to the Northern Illinois Fire Museum Web Site! We're glad you found us and hope you will browse around and learn all about our museum. Our museum exists to educate - we'd like the whole world to know about fire equipment and it's stellar history!
We are currently working hard to find a new location for our amazing collection of vintage fire gear. With our new home, we're aiming to be larger, more centrally located and feature greater access for everyone - from our retired museum fans right down to our youngest "future fire fighters"!
Our Museum was created by dedicated volunteers, fans of both fire equipment and history, and our collection is maintained by their continuing efforts. If you'd like to help out, please consider visiting our donation page or contacting us!
Our Website can give you a glimpse of our collection simply by clicking the "Pictures" button above. Here you will find photos of the equipment owned by the museum along with additional gear owned by our members.
Find a map to the museum by clicking on the "Location" button.
Upcoming events and important dates can be found by clicking the "Calendar" button.
And, once again, please consider a donation to the Northern Illinois Fire Museum. We flourish because of our members' efforts and your donations. Find out more by clicking the "Donate" button. Thank you!
